St Patrick's Day Card
I've been wanting to use the Simply Charmed cartridge, but it just hasn't been right for the cards I've been creating. Well this week's challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps was to use this cartridge. It seemed like the perfect time to make a St. Paddy's Day card. I'm also entering it in the Throwback Thursday's Challenge 175 over at My Creative Time. I only used cardstock and paper from my scrap stash, making an A2 card opening on the side. I used one of the Cindy Loo Cuttlebug folders to dry emboss the white background. I cut the leprechaun out at 3.5" and also used the shadow feature. I wasn't happy with the way his jacket looked so I added lines for a lapel, front and drew a little pocket flap. The sentiment I printed from my computer using the Ales and Wenches font. This card makes me smile. Thanks for stopping by.
